To promote greater awareness of the role of the jazz composer/arranger as well as to stimulate and honor the creation of exceptional new works; ISJAC proposes to bestow significant annual awards (along with cash prizes) to the year’s best new pieces in several different categories.  The presentation of these awards will be made at a gala event and will be widely publicized.
