Is there a student rate, and who qualifies?
Yes — student membership is $35/year versus $65 for general membership. You’ll provide proof of current enrollment at checkout. Student members receive every general benefit plus an invitation to the exclusive student reception at the Jazz Composers Summit with board members and guest artists.
What does an individual membership include?
Eligibility to submit for awards, prizes, and commissions; eligibility to submit works for Launchpad; Hall of Fame voting; access to all web-based and live programming; the complete Artist Blog and “From the Writer’s Desk” archives; four Jazz Composers Present sessions a year; and exclusive member discounts and opportunities throughout the year.
Can my organization or institution join?
Yes. Consortium membership ($2,500, one-time lifetime) and Affiliate membership ($500/year) are built for partner organizations and institutions — with Summit registration and program-ad discounts, a listing on the ISJAC website and event programs, and one individual ISJAC membership per year. Email info@isjac.org and we’ll help you choose.
How do I join?

When does my membership renew?
Individual, Student, and Affiliate memberships run for one year from your join date. Consortium membership is a one-time lifetime membership — no annual renewal.
