Upcoming web and in-person programming

While much of our programming is available only to our current members, we do offer "open house" events open to all, which includes our in-person ISJAC "hangs" and select webinars. Check back for regular updates to our calendar

July

July 26th - Duly Noted Webinar with Peter Erskine - ISJAC is honored to host legendary drummer Peter Erskine as a part of our Duly Noted Webinar Series. In this one-hour presentation and Q&A, Peter dives into the space between the notes to help drummers and non-drummers alike gain respect and appreciation for proper timing of ideas, phrasing and rhythm. Coming from decades of experience in the jazz idiom and beyond, Peter will provide valuable insight on how composers and improvisers can better convey their ideas to a rhythm section. More details and a link to join can be found on our MEMBERS ONLY page.

August 9th - ISJAC Hangs Los Angeles - Join ISJAC president John Beasley for a drink and a hang to chat about ISJAC, composition and beyond. All are welcome! Exact time/location posting soon.

This is an opportunity for our ISJAC Members to get their charts read, recorded and livestreamed by a professional jazz orchestra.
