Travel Info for The University of Northern Colorado

Located along Colorado’s idyllic front range, the University of Northern Colorado is a vibrant academic institution with an exceptional history of excellence in the performing arts. The jazz program alone has garnered more than 100 Downbeat Awards, operates the UNC Jazz Press, and produces the famed UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival. It offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in addition to performance opportunities in big bands, combos, vocal jazz ensembles, and jazz combos. The program also has a strong jazz composition and arranging focus making UNC a fantastic partner for hosting an International Jazz Composers’ Symposium.

Additionally, with the completion of a new performance hall just months before the 2019 Symposium, UNC will provide a state of the art facility for listening, discussing, and sharing new ideas within the jazz composition and arranging profession.
