2019 Symposium Registration

The ISJAC (the International Society for Jazz Arrangers & Composers) in cooperation with the University of Northern Colorado invites jazz composers, musicians, scholars, students, and music aficionados from around the world to participate in a unique forum in which they are able to connect, learn, and interact with other jazz composers/arrangers.   Over the course of two and a half days, internationally renowned artists, scholars, and industry professionals will offer master classes, performances, lectures, clinics, reading sessions, poster sessions, and research presentations.  Via an open call for papers, arrangements, and compositions; applicants have an opportunity to have their works/research presented and performed. Featured guest artists include: Ron Miles, Bill Frisell, Christine Jensen, Vince Mendoza, Darcy James Argue, & Chris Potter

Symposium Registration Fees (Reg. includes admission to ALL evening concerts)

  • $12 – Students
  • $65 – General Admission Package price of all 3 concerts
  • $48 – Senior package price of all 3 concerts
  • $30 – Student package price of all 3 concerts

  • Friday Eve., May 17th (7:30 PM) – Friday Vince Mendoza with Colorado Jazz Orchestra
  • Saturday Eve., May 18th (7:30 PM) – Saturday Chris Potter Quartet

Refund Policy: Absolutely no refunds will be given after April 19th, 2019. Prior to April 19th a refund of registration fees may be requested - minus a $50 handling fee.
